MITI IS..???

IDENTITY AND PURPOSE

As organizations (mass organizations) in the field of science and technology, MITI is a non-profit organization (not for profit) and is ready to open in cooperation with any party for bringing the benefits for members and represent with MITI's vision and mission.
PURPOSE

This organization aims to realize effective communication between scientists and teknolog the berwarganegara Indonesia in building industry-Iptek Indonesia for the new firm and independent.

Declaration MITI
Established through the National Seminar on "Highlight Iptek Role In Building Industry National " attended by participant ± 150 on Saturday, 17 January 2004

Vision

• Become effective venue for scientists and national technologist in Indonesia to build a new strong and independent.

Mission

• Develop and enhance effective communication between scientists and technologist Indonesia in order to find solutions to the problematical science and technology national industry.
• establish strategic partnerships with associations and institutions science and technology industry-both nationally and internationally.
• sources of support funding for research science and technology.
• Implementing recruiting scientists and technologist in order to maintain the sustainability of human resources science and technology
• Conducting advocacy activities, training, assistance and community service in the field of science and technology
• Providing input to the state institutions science and technology-field direction on industrial policy science and technology-national industry.

FUNCTION

MITI six operational functions:

1. stimulus : spearhead the empowerment of human resources science and technology in Indonesia
2. Coordination: as a forum to coordinate the program of cooperation between HR science and technology are members, and establish cooperation with national institutions and international science and technology.
3. Advocacy: making services, training, assistance and advocacy in the field of community science and technology.
